Types of body and suitable wedding dress

A good wedding dress designer can guide what type of wedding dress would be the most suitable one for bride. The body type is generally categorized to seven.  They are the apple shape, hourglass shape, inverted triangle shape, rectangle shape, pear shape, small bust shape and large bust shape.  Before selecting a suitable wedding dress, it is important to identify the body shape.

Apple shape:
Small waist with big torso and with big body frame is considered as apple shaped body.  Such people will have fully developed hips and bottom.   Any dress that can accentuate this particular body type will be a good selection for a bride with apple shaped body. Long silhouette are good. The skirt must flow out from the body.  The dress must have high waistlines.   Empire and Ball gowns are ideally good wedding dress with strapless or sweat heart designs.

Hourglass shape:

Inverted triangle shape: 
People with broad shoulder and narrow hip portion are falling in this category.  A-line, Empire, Sheath and Ball Gown wedding dresses are more suitable to these people. It is advised not to cover the shoulder.  Halter, Strapless or One – shoulder neckline design can bring more elegance to the bride’s personality.

Rectangle shaped:
